I received my Splitfish FragFX V.2 for Playstation 3 yesterday, and I'm very pleased so far! The response in games I have tested (Bioshock, Killzone 2 demo) has been awesome. So much better than using the analog sticks. I can easily strafe sideways while staying locked on a target, something that I find almost impossible using sticks. That said, it's not as good as a PC mouse, but I didn't really expect that. Ultimately the FragFX has to translate mouse movements into analog commands, and thus it will never give you perfect 1:1 movement. But it's good enough!
Only problem is that the frag button doesn't work, but according to Splitfish there will be a firmware update next week that fixes this. Until then, I think I'll be starting Bioshock from scratch. Awesome!

I have Bioshock for PS3 and I was thinking in buy one of these FragFX controllers, but I didn't decide yet. It really worth spend $75 in one? The mouse isn't very fast or slow to control the aim? I saw you can control the speed in the FragFX, but it really works? I think playing Bioshock with analog sticks is very very hard, almost impossible to give one perfect shot, I have to waste a lot of bullets because I can't aim very well with the analogs. You think the experience with the game is better with the FragFX?

you want to know a secret 1. its a mouse and where do you use a mouse a pc right and what do you look at on the pc not a 20 - 60in tv a 19-20in computer monitor my friends here is the trick i had all the same problems with the lag but i had to make it work and i tried everything i dont know where i came up with the idea just wanted to try it. But if you use a computer monitor with a hdmi input (it even says it on the monitors when you buy it more controll with a gaming mouse) you will have NO LAG and feel like playing on a pc i aint just making this up leave nasty comments out. and you might say well i just want to use my tv and dont want to have to use a computer monitor WELL THEN DONT BUY IT.
You see a tv screen has 10-50 millaseconds response time
Where as a pc monitor has 2 milliseconds response time there is where the lag is coming from pc monitors are made for mouse.
Not a TV you wont be sorry when you try this you will kick ass on this setup this is what i run
1. i think a 20in lcd monitor by lg 2milliseconds (best buy)
2. triton gaming headset because there are no speakers on the monitor you will need some sort of speakers i prefer headset especially triton you can hear things across so many maps on cod mw2 look them up
3. Splitfish fragfx v1 or v2 i really am not a fan of the frag pro wireless stay away from that.

I can tell you that from personal experience that the Fragenstein from Bannco is the bomb. It's made from quality parts and feels like a real mouse. I use this set-up on MW2 and its damn NEAR the same control as with my PC. I love this thing and if you hate analog sticks like I do then I would say get this you wont be disappointed. I've never used the FragFX but I've heard good and bad. Also the parts seem a little cheap so I wasn't intrested. The left hand part of the controller is a little uncomfortable at times but I can deal with it as long as I don't have to play my FPS on a controller...I'm happy. If you are like me and have 12 years of experience playing first person shooters with a mouse, then I highly recommend FragFX. It's not as good as standard PC, but it's close enough, which is all that counts really!
So yeah, it is expensive but for me I simply can't play FPS games with analog sticks.

I been reading alot about the original FragFX preforming bad while trying to turn your guy around. Just wondering before i put my preorder in.

I bought the first version of the fragfx and found that it was tricky to just spin around. for example. if you heard somebody running up to you from behind turning aound is harder as you tend to overcompensate and have to re-center the mouse. I play COD4 with it and love how you have more control of the gun...and with the "frag" button....it's cool how with the press of the button you can slow down the sensetivity drastically for precise shots then release button for full on speed. but YES it's harder to simply turn around. I know with the analog sticks on my ps3 it's easy to jsut push left and hold it so you can do a spinning move while firing...alot harder with the frag fx.
*Note i returned my frag fx because i found it choppy no matter how i adjusted my sensetivity in game and on frag fx..the new one is supposed to be way better.

The performance is better in Resistance: 2, and in Bioshock than KZ2.
Yeah turning around very quickly in KZ 2 is not the best. But then again, the Frag button is still broken in this current firmware, so I haven't tried with the proper configuration yet.
Ideally, you'd want to turn the sensitivity up high for general running and looking, and then hold the frag button when you need to target.
KZ2 performance
Most of the reviews I've read on the old fragfx have been positive, and I'm dying for the one I have placed on preorder to arrive. How are some people getting the v.2 already? My understanding was these weren't being released for a couple of weeks?
I bought the full KZ2 game over the weekend, and it was the first game ever to give me a bit of motion sickness. I believe the problem to be the bizarre analog stick acceleration that they have working. Small adjustments to the stick produce small changes, as they should, but tilt the stick halfway over or so and leave it there, and the rate of turn gradually increases to be very fast. This is extremely disorienting, and makes it very difficult to predict the path of your crosshair, resulting in over-shooting your target.
That's the first time I've encountered that problem on a ps3 game, and I'd bet it's the cause of the problems with the fragfx. I'll have to check to see if there's some way to turn that off in the KZ2 controller options.

Compared to original fragfx
Can anyone comment on a comparison of the v.2 fragfx with the v.1? I have the v.1 and I primarily used it for COD4. It didn't work as well with some of the other FPSs. I really liked it with COD4, but it did have some issues with turning fast, etc.

I LOVE my FragFX devices. I have owned 4 of them. I am rough on controllers and frankly I just wear them out! I have logged thousands of hours on a splitfish device. I have a EdgeFX for ps2, a FragFX v1 that I wore out from playing 20 days worth on cod4!, A new FragFXv1 that I began my cod WaW Career on, and my new FragFX V2 that I just recieved recently.
I loved the FragFX v1 devices, as they were the ONLY way I could play shooters on a console after years of them on pc. The FragFX doesnt let me down the slightest bit either! I love that the V2 feels exactly like the V1.. if it isnt broke, dont fix it! However, they made so many design changes to improve performance and the little quirks that the v1 had. The d-pad is 100% better on the V2 device. The analog stick on the Frag-chuck is a lot better quality, more of an exact replica of the DS3 sticks now. Mouse movement is noticibly smoother as well.. I would recommend this to anyone that finds playing with a DS3 is a chore.. this is the dream device you've been looking for!
To answer a question for Xelasti, I have owned a Rateup and I hated it! It would stop working in the middle of a game and I would have to unplug the device and plug it back in to get it to work again... then a few games later it would stop working again. Also the Rateup has ZERO dead spot in the divice so there is no internal acceleration compensation...with normal games you can lock your cursor on a target and stay close to it and track small movements. With the rate up you have to be very delicate not to over shoot a target when doing small movements.

There have been improvements in the V2 over the V1. Unfortunately, the build quality still isn't as good as the PS3 Dualshock, but the buttons have apparently improved dramatically. The V1 users had endless problems with having to press the buttons extremely hard.
To summarise, the FragFX is meant for people who are used to playing FPS games with a mouse and can't bear the thought of using analog controllers.
If you're already quite skilled with the analogs, you probably won't get as much value from it as I do.

Both systems (PS3 and PC-high end) are in my posession and I find it by far alot easyer to aim with a mouse, I tend to overshoot my target with the stick and use strafe to adjust (witch compromises cover)

I've got it, after I went to the cinema I came home semi-tired but I felt compelled to test this gadget.
I must say it's a very nice one just a few first impressions (might be finetuning/getting used to)
only tested with KZ2 (yes, I decided to buy that one):
1*) tend to overshoot the target, seems like the mouse isn't reacting , only registers bigger movements.
this might be because the controller users have the same issue but it's anoying. on the solo mission it kinda gets on my nerves being unable to aim.
2*) tried to remap the reload (standard square button) to a snap with the synax motion, didn't respond to that. it did all, just didn't register the final step of the remap.
3*) play in a nice warm room, ones those fingers get cold it's hard to have some accuracy with the mouse itself.
4*) comes with a 3 metres USB cord, should be long enough, but in my case I had to extend it by about a metre.
Worst game to do the review
Worst game to do the review on is Killzone 2. The game is made to have a delay feel with the aiming with gamepad, and fragfx v.1. I have version one and killzone 2 is the only game i ever played I need to warm up with. Try version 2 on resistance 2 or cod4 not killzone 2. Doesn't matter what you use... It's the player not the device that has to adjust.

No, the firmware is not out yet and I also found out last night that the tweak utility does not seem to work on the V2. This means I cannot change the buttons around and change their sensitivity.
The fragfx is no good for Fallout 3. If you have the sensitivity dail too high the game judders but if it's to low it take to long to turn and look around. I've gone back to using the ps3 controller.
I tried it on the Fear 2 demo and it seems quiet good for that.

Thanks for your thoughts on this, I never buy anything before many many many reviews and opinions first (thank you internet and the nerds who actually review this stuff...lol), but since the old one had great reviews (while not perfect, is anything? only JESUS) I decided to pre-order it from game...something or other's website.
I'm a PC gamer and there is just NO WAY for me to get use to the stick and rudder approach the PS3 has to PS3....who ever thought that would be OK? LOL

New firmware beta 2.1
I downloaded and successfully installed the new firmware. The Frag button works now, but pushing the L2 and Frag button together causes the FragFX to beep. This is pretty annoying and makes the Frag button pretty unusable because often I am crouching while targeting. I will email Splitfish about it now.
fragfx works partly
i bought the fragfx last week. it works really great in cod waw but it sucks in killzone 2. in cod u can turn quit well and it reacts very good. also the aiming is great. in killzone the big problem is the slow turning and the inaccurate aiming.
i tried several possibilities but the problems stays.

FragFX V1
I've been a proud owner of a fragfx v1 for over a year now..It kicks ass for Cod4/WAW...but that's about it... every other fps game i've tried it over didn't work out too well... Putting the dial at 0 sensitivity and turning it up in the game is the best combination I believe. The only complaint I've ever had is...being able to look up/down... it's too slow in that aspect..but nonetheless it's pretty accurate :)
I have tried k2 demo with the fragfx..and because of the way they made the game it feels like it doesn't work too well with it :P

All I want to know is will it work with SOCOM 3? I am a long time PC Gamer and I would like to get the PS3, but I can't play with the controller. I am used to the mouse/keyboard combo. I don't have time to fiddle around with the PS3 controller. I will go out and buy a PS3 today if I knew that the fragfx v.2 would work with SOCOM 3. Any feedback is appreciated.

I am a PC gamer 100%. cannot play FPS on PS3 with the dual shock. It's terrible. not any fun at all. today I got the fragfx v2 and killzone 2. It works perfect. First time I have ever had fun playing PS3 other than GTA and starwars force unleashed. I have COD4 for PC. Of course any PC FPS is better but I had a great time playing Killzone 2. I have a 110 projector in my media room for PS3 so it looked and sounded awesome and with the mouse I could finally shoot and kill. get it for sure.

Rubber coating? Stiffer more solid feeling buttons or solid mouse??? I have Version one and it's great works great first one I had to send back along with 3 of my friends the first one we recieved had a button that was malfunctioning.
Feels very fragile. My friend just did a XIM setup where he can use his own keyboard and mouse although... He has to have his pc running to enable it.
Please email me if anyone has a review of the specifics of how solid the device is. At $80 it has to be more solid than version 1 or it's not worth it. Version one is like 49 bucks.
Got v2 last night
I got v2 last night and played the KZ2 demo and Resistance 2. KZ2 I turned sensitivity in game up to max and adjusted on the FragFX depending on what I was doing and everything was smooth.
Resistance 2 on the other hand seemed really choppy. Maybe this newest firmware is good for KZ2 and not resistance. What is everyone using for settings in Resistance 2?

I got an old one without the firmware upgrade on Version 1 and the jitters were gone.
My settings are perfect 7 notches from the max internal in the game in sensitivity. Then on the dial move it to 7.5. U get quick twitch

Must say im really disappointed. The left controller works great, but none of my mouse buttons work correctly. the xosquare and triangle work but the r1 r2 r3 and start are all sporadic. Ive tried to do update but there is no next button on my update program so you cant get it to work. Guess ill send it back and hopefully get a better one.

So has anybody found the optimum settings for Killzone2 ? i seem to be struggling setting this thing up, it certainly feels more natural than the ps3 pad, but just seems a bit sporadic

On killzone 2 I max out the internal sensitivity. On my pad I use 7.5 to 8 as the setting.
The games controls are sluggish but after adapting to it a long with it's slight aim assisting it's overall not bad.
It's nothing like cod4 or resistance 2 type response but this is the game itself.

On the firmare upgrade mine is 2.1 but the frag button is still not working. I dont know about version 1 but For how much it cost. The hardware is pretty poor plastic. It should have been at least to sony quality.
I am used to playing with a mouse on the pc.
I am a old time gamer of 46 and I really enjoy fps. My favourite at the moment is battlefield bad company on a 27" dell monitor full hd with 5.1 surround awsome! but the multiplayer needs to be sorted out for bad company 2.
My frag setting for this game is in game sensitivity to max and frag chuck set to 4-5.
Come on splitfish get the firmware sorted!

I just installed firmware 2.1 again. my hardware originally said it was v1.00 but now it says it is 2.1 hardware and 2.1 firmware.So it did update it at last.
before the red bar would go half way across then stop.
I used the international english link and downloaded the beta march 13 2009 zip.
when i installed it the red bar went right across to the end and then said update successful. and the frag button now works!!!. I hope this is helpful to some of you new frag owners. I installed it using xp not vista.
you can have the sensitive wheel on the frag chuck set a lot higher now without the jerkiness.

My first impressions
I was looking forward to the Fragfx to the point where I postponed playing any FPSs on my PS3. It doesn't work as well as I hoped. When you're fidgeting with the sensitivities both in game and using the Fragfx dial, you are constantly trading off how quickly your character can turn and how precise your small movements will be.
In the end it feels like you are playing a PC shooter with the mouse sensitivity dialed down way too low. Like to the point where you are lifting your mouse of the pad constantly to make a full turn. I'd say it feels more like one the the old ball mice from ten years ago rather than an optical mouse.
Anyways, I'm returning it because the L2 trigger is malfunctioning, but I'm still trying to decide if I want it replaced. The only reason I would consider picking it up again is if there was some reassurance that the firmware updates are going to make a difference.
Frag FX V2
I have been using the V1 for a year or so and the one annoying problem that still bothers me is a very fast mouse movement in COD4 will flat leave your weapon behind (still pointing where it was or very close to it). This is sure death when you round a corner and bump into the enemy. I have been considering an upgrade to V2 but cannot find out if this problem has been fixed. I have reported this to SplitFish but they act as if they know nothing about it. This problem stands out like a sore thumb...how can anyone not see it? Years ago when I was gaming on PC Logitech had this same problem with their mice but managed to fix it.
Any ideas here or thoughts anyone ?

Just received the v.2. Well, at least it is better than the standard controller. As a hardcore FPS shooter player on computer, I still would rather play with a regular mouse and keyboard. My Logitech G15 keyboard and 518 optical or my G5 mouse define quality. More accurate in every way. Other than GTA IV, this is my first FPS purchase for the PS3. I have been playing COD4, which I purchased along with the controller. I have held out for 3 years because I refused to play any real shooters with that PS3 standard controller. I will keep playing the v.2 and hope it grows on me. I just hope it lasts that long, because it sure feels cheaply made.
Oh, I forgot to add a comment about the mousepad, which will fill my local landfill. I really wish splitfish could have learned from their previous mistake, as it is posted all over the internet. Spend the money that was wasted on manufacturing that junkpad on the controller. Focus your attention on the controller! Use better plastics so it is not so cheap feeling. I solved the problem quickly by grabbing my ICEMAT mousepad. The Greatest mousepad ever made.
Sorry to be so negative. I am just disgusted with the incompetence. It is extremely frustrating because I cannot believe it has taken Sony or some accessories company so long to get on the ball and steal the PC game players by implementing the keyboard mouse into their games. I would buy so many more games. They stand to make so much more money.

I got my Frag Fx v2 today, but im not 100% pleased with it. I think the respons is a bit slow, not much, but as much that its irritating me.
2nd: when I move the mouse slowly to the side it moves a bit choppy, and suddenly the aim/mouse jumps a little so I may miss the target.
Does anyone know why? Can I get rid of this by configure it or is the product defect?
one more thing: What is the best configurations for the fragfx in for example cod 5, far cry 2, fallout 3?

Hi I have the fragfx version 2. I have installed the march firmware update.Originally it said it was version 1 hardware but since updating it,it says it it version 2.1 hardware and 2.1 software. Read previous posts for more details.Since updating the frag button now works.The only thing i have used it on is battlefield bad company.ingame sensitivity set to max.and number wheel on chuck set to 7. alot smoother with no stuttering.

Just bought the fragfx v.2 at first it felt very weird but after changing the senstivity in game it was a much more responsive. My problem lies with up/down movements. I installed the latest firmware but just CANNOT work out how to change buttons (remap) Has anyone managed to do this?
as the aim button is set on the knun chuck and not the mouses right click.

tweak utility worked half way
I got the tweak utility to remap bottons, but the pressure sensitivity does not. "Can't communicate" when i click the "save" If I don't change anything it says I was successful. Move the slider a little, click save, goes back to saying can't communicate. It's a v1 utility they have said this already, i just hope they come out with a v.2 utility.

Regarding the tweak utility for the v2 FragFX I have emailed them a couple of times and it is always going to released within the next couple of weeks.
I am rapidly losing faith with Splitfish, the product has been out for months yet we are still on beta firmware from near the start of March and no tweak utility seems to be surfacing.

After some messing around I was finally able to get the new tweak utility to run, but it's still pretty flaky, freezes up alot and has some other issues. I am wondering if anyone has had success remapping the buttons on the controller. I am just trying to swap the R1 and R2 buttons so I can shoot with the left mouse button on BioShock and FEAR 2. It says it's saving the changes but it's not actually doing anything for me. Is anyone else having any luck with this?

SplitFish FragFX Mouse (PS3)
Guys,
I got the FragFX v.2 today and the mouse motion is extremyly slow. The mouse speed on the PS3 broswer is way too slow compared to a normal USB mouse. And it was impossible to aim, not to mention locking on multiple targets in PS3 games.
Increasing the sensitivity of the mouse doesnt help speeding it up even though it shows obvioulsy when using the left stick.
Any help? Am I missing something?

i have had to upgrade my V2 on my mates laptop as it would not do so on my own pc, i have had my v2 since march 13th and upgraded with the 19th beta on my own pc then but with this new one all i get when i plug the FFx and run the app is 'Please Plug in your Frag Fx' and then it quits... this is very annoying i have reformatted reinstalled xp and vista still the same.. any ideas :|

I have been in contact with a guy at bannco I told him that I was unsure if the fragnstein was fake or a scam and he just emailed me back and said that if I was unsure to wait until reviews come out and people recieved theirs and comment on it as the product only started shipping Thursday. Hi all, i have my fragfx now for 3 months and it worked fine till today.
I want to play COD 5 but when i am in it i keep turning rounds.
My mouse seems not to respound anymore. The buttons on the mouse works fine and the laser light is burning. How many laserlight are in the mouse, 1 or 2? Maybe one is broke?
It also happens in Killzone 2.

But the FragFx is plugged and works in Game Controllers at Control Panel. The fix is for the tweak utility, to adjust pressure, remaps the controls and update the firmware.

"executez" i also have the dial sensitvity issue, but for me it was way too sensitive, almost barfed while playong cod5, lol.
anyway i suspect it has to do with the solder that's connecting the dial to the board.
my fix...
i opened the fragchuck and pushed down on the dial while turning it to level 4, seems to have done the trick, hope it works for you.

this is my problem, updated fragfx v2 ok. after about a hour of playing cod5 the mouse stops working but the left fragchuck is fine and will not turn back on, if i try the next day the bloody thing starts working again as if its been blocked by my ps3 for 24 hours wtf ?. anyway to revert back to the old firmware i'm sure its the new 2.10 firmware?

Problem with mouse
I had the same problem as another user where the mouse just stopped working for no apparent reason. All the mouse buttons worked but moving the mouse did nothing. After a couple of days it just started working again. I contacted Splitfish support about the problem and had my controller replaced. I only had to pay for shipping to them ($4.60). I received a brand new controller in return.

I must say, when I first tried Frag fx v2 with battlefield bad company, I tought it was all abit lame. But then I switch over to COD4 and I just fell in love :) This thingy boosts my gameplay a whole bunch and its finally cool to play fps games on the PS3.
I strongly recommend the Frag FX v2 to everyone!

Had the original FragFX v1 until it died (keeps disconnecting itself - really annoying).
I've just replaced it with a v2 and with the new v2 (30th August '09) software [here: http://www.splitfish.com/?uid=bnt9o2894plf4ghv] it works exactly the same as the v1 - just fine.
Have to say though that I only play Call Of Duty and for that it works perfectly.
Can't vouch for how it behaves with other games.

Got it working and played a short session on Modern Warfare 2.
I then turned off the PS3 console.Later that same day when i was gonna play mw2 the mouse and fragchuck didnt work, and i havent got them to work ever since.I've tried to update the Dongle on another computer but it didnt work.new batteries in the mouse and fragchuck so that wasnt the problem.
Anyone know how to "reinstall" or "reupdate" the mouse+chuck?

Dual SFX Frag Pro - Waste of $$?
I first received the dual frag pro yesterday, was so excited. Plugged it in following all instructions to my ps3, started call of duty, modern warefare 2 and away I went. I thought I would try some campaign first to get used to the new controller.
I was very unpleased after about 10 minutes of use when I realized that no matter what combination of sensitivity on the controller, or in the game options I used, that the mouse movement was very choppy and anything but precise. After trying for another hour to change my sensitivity settings on both the game and on the controller, I gave up. I unplugged the frag pro and went back to my controller. $90 bucks wasted was my thoughts at this point. Then today I found the Firmware upgrade utility on your website and thought, "maybe that's it.. i should upgrade the unit before I make any decisions". I followed all instructions, installed the software onto my Vista computer. But I am unable to upgrade the firmare.
First off, the instructions say to make sure that the unit is recognized as an HID compliant game controller and & USB Human Interface Device, which it was. So I proceeded to try to upgrade the dongle. Plugged into same USB, opened software, selected level 3 sensitivity, checked dongle, clicked firmware upgrade, and something happened that is NOT in your directions. A windows "Found New Hardware" box pops up asking to install a driver for a WT6573. There are 3 options now. 1. Locate and install the driver software 2. Ask me again later or 3. Dont show this message again for this device. As a very computer literate person, I realize that this is normally not necessary when upgrading firmware. I first tried option 3, waited about 30 seconds and received "Update Error" in the firmware software. So.. i repeated the entire process, choosing step 2 but still received the "Update Error". I also just did nothing when the windows box pops up and I still receive the "Update Error"
I have already sent in a support ticket with Splitfish Forums (as they did not answer their phones during normal business hours, guess they are getting many other complaints) and will see if they resolve this issue.

I got my Frag pro yesterday and I wasn't impressed to say the least. I have 10 days to send it back. If they can't get some type of firmware update to fix this choppy play then I'm shipping it back. $90 for this. I may give the Fragnstein a try.

i received the hardware , started playing ...and was very very desapointed with the sensitivity. normal looking its slow ...and when aming its its on sens. 9 it kinda gives little jumps , if its on sens. 1 it goes ok but its so slow that i cant keep up with the enamys.
i tryed the upgrade software ... and unlike scott , the hardware is still working but it did not fix anything.
im using windows 7 ultima . at the midle of the dongle upgrade olso came up a message saying new hardware found , but win7 recognise it as a PS3 compatible device ...and just keept going.
any way my main issue is defenatly with the sensitivity and its impossible to play with it.

ive had the fragfx v2 for half a year now. and its doing its job, it didnt in the start, but after the firmware update and customizations to the buttons in win xp, its been wonders to have in modern warfare2, killzone2. its still jumpy in the bad company 2 beta tho. might have to fiddle more with the sens ingame and on the fragfx.
just saying that to those that are unhappy customers, if you get its firmware updated,you are in for a good ride in most FPS gaming.

The controller works for COD MW2, been using the controller since COD MW2 came out and it's working great.
Only problem i have is the tweak utility. Some buttons are permanent and you can re-assign them. There is a option to swap L3 with R3, but i don't want something like that....
Anyone here heard something about the tweak utility enable users to reassign ALL buttons to which or where ever you desire??

What sensitivity do you use? Every combination of sensitivity still results in choppy playing. this controller is nothing like using a mouse on fps for a computer. if you have managed to get it working well please inform me on how you did it.

try a usb hub. this did sorta happen to me. sometimes the v2 blue light would just turn off and no response when re-connected. so i got a usb hub and connected to the ps3 and then it worked again. seems theres connectivity issues in the cables perhaps. it still works great btw.

I'm having the same problem with some of you guys here,my FragFx2 Mouse stop working or mailfunction in-game (moving and shooting by itself).
And as far as I know, the problem maybe can be partialy solved by turning off all the heavy electric applications in you house like the refrigerator and air conditioner.
I found this works with me although with limited time span (about 30 minutes) before you have the same problem again.
I've mailed the split fish support but didn't get any answer yet....

Well I paid $130 Australian dollars for this piece of crap and its the biggest waste of money ever.
The lag on the mouse movement is outrageous.
Tried the firmware update that just been released. The mouse and dongle updage but the fragchuck refuses to update the firmware.
So far splitfish have just been using delaying tactics, ie which version of o/s are you using, then a day later come back and say, is it 32 bit or 64 bit (despite the fact that the firmware upgrade wont work at all froma 64 bit machine, so I wouldnt have been able to upgrade the mouse).
Last response I gave a full tech readout of my system...no response the last 3 days.

If anyone has any information on getting the best results for playing COD modern warfare 2 please HELP ME! when i try to update Dual SFX Frag Pro wireless i can update the dongle, but when i try to update the Fragchuck nothing happens.
The bar which shows the progress of installing moves a little bit, but then nothing happens and i have to quit.
Anybody an idea why i cant update? Is it possible to reset the controllers?

I'm experiencing the mouse issues, too. Suddently the mouse is dead. I think it happened during an online game connection (Uncharted 2), because I used the X button to start the session.
Below is the reply that I got from their support:
"Please reinstall our lateast firmware. If it won't work, than it's most likely a hardware issue."
Obviously, the firmware update is not working ("Update error" message. I've tried also the fix that I found on this thread but I receive the "Please plugin your Frag FX V2..." message.
I used the controller for maximum 80 hours of playing, it died kinda young...

In game quickly press the ps button go to settings accessories and reassign controller to controller 1.
this is the quickest way to get it working again in ur online game.
